Who is Laura Cavanaugh?

‍Hi, I’m Laura — licensed massage therapist (HI MAT #9554) with over 28 years of experience helping people deeply relax, reset, and reboot

I’ve trained in a wide range of massage modalities including Reiki, Reflexology, CranioSacral Therapy, Rolf Method of Structural Integration, Sports Massage, Lymphatic Gua Sha, Massage Cupping, Manual Lymphatic Drainage and more. You can read more about my trainings and experience on my blog.

I provide therapeutic mobile massage therapy on Maui, (you can ask for the other stuff but I don't do it, you know what I mean. I arrive at your home or vacation rental with everything you need to melt stress away. Whether you're a massage veteran or a first-time client, I’ll guide you through a calm, professional experience that meets your needs and respects your boundaries.

In addition to massage and bodywork, I also offer hypnosis sessions both virtually and in person. Combine it with a massage and you get Hypnomassage which is fabulous.

I wrote some fiction books during the pandemic, a trilogy which is no where near as well done and popular as "The Summer I Turned Pretty" books.

When I’m not massaging or driving to do a massage you’ll probably find me at my computer trying to learn something new and acquire a remote job, or I'll be working on my new rescue garden project. Periodically I try my luck with some night photography since I truly love the upcountry nightscapes,  camera in hand, I experiment with long exposures under the moonlight, like the photo of me above.

My approach to massage is no-nonsense, truthful, and client-focused. I understand or ask you many questions so that I may understand clearly what you’re looking for in your massage session and I’m obsessed with delivering stellar customer service.
